Cloud accounting services are provided by an outside accountant using software that is hosted in the cloud. The cloud accountant performs accounting functions for their client remotely, using the internet.
The difference is where the software is installed and how it is accessed. Unlike in a traditional environment where the you purchase and install QuickBooks software on your local PC or server, in our cloud environment QuickBooks is hosted on a remote server, and you access the QuickBooks program and your data file using the internet.

We use QuickBooks, hosted in the cloud. We choose to use the desktop version rather than QuickBooks online because the desktop version is more full featured. We also use several third party apps that integrate with QuickBooks, such as Bill.com and Spring Ahead.

Yes. We use Trapp Technology for QuickBooks hosting, and they provide user authentication, RDP/RDC session 128-bit RC4 encryption, SSL certificates, and rolling seven-day, redundant backups.
You may create and save a backup of your QuickBooks file at any time. If you should later change your mind, we will also provide you with a backup of your QuickBooks data file.
